Workshop for Professional Counselors and Mental Health Therapists – October 13, 2018

  Donna J. Craig, RN, JD, in conjunction with the Michigan Mental Health Counselors Association, will be presenting the workshop “Growing a Counseling Practice with Less Legal Risk”, at Great Lakes Christian College, Lansing, on October 13, 2018.  Topics to be covered include starting a counseling practice, HIPAA Privacy and Security requirements, responding to subpoenas, minors’ rights, and much more.  The workshop will go from 9:00 am (registration at 8:30 am) to 1:00 pm on Saturday, October 13, 2018.  To register go to Michigan Mental Health Counselors Association.

Ms. Craig’s workshop on ‘Growing A Counseling Practice With Less Legal Risk’ was excellent and very informative, providing up-to-date, relevant and useful information for my practice.
